You can now see results from our team qualifiers on the News page.
It was a great day for all involved, the rain held off - Just - and everyone came home safe & sound which makes in itself a successful day. There are however a few points to note.
Firstly a MASSIVE thank you to Julia Beesley from all involved, Julia was at Twesledown from 8am this morning until the last horse came home around 4.30pm offering coaching in the Dressage & any other kind of support & help in all other disciplines. Everybody commented how great it was to have her there - especially warming up for the Dressage.
Secondly, Sandra Hall & Shelley Curtis were the helpers today & they both did a fantastic job - this just reiterates that if you are in a team for the Club you do need to provide helpers - it is a British Riding Clubs rule. It is a great opportunity to compete in these qualifiers at a reduced price and surely you all know someone who can give a bit of time to make it possible, so give them a call as team managers will not be providing these helpers for you!
With regards to the running of this particular event from Wokingham & Bearwood the facilities at Twesledown were - as always great. The only complaint I think anyone would have today was with regards to the Scores. Even at 4pm there were no results from the Mornings Novice Jumping.
We had to wait at Twesledown until 8.30pm for the final scores & as you will see from the spreadsheet attached there are certain parts that are missing. I have outlined everything that was available at the time & I will update the spreadsheet when the results are posted on the Website.
Sarah came 1st so good luck to her at the championships - she scored a great 32.8 and added just a few time penalties to take the title for the second year in a row! Rachel was 7th with a great double clear.
