The Fun Day!

Fun Day 20th June 2009

You will by now have received your flier for the Fun Day at Farley Estate on 20th June 2009. Don't forget to let us know if you are coming so that we can inform the Estate of all names, plus to book you into a hack of the right speed and time!

There will be showjumps and a dressage arena for you to practice in, and we may also hold a clinic on that day - details to follow. Plus we will have the Beater's Cabin open with tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake. We will also have Wayne Jones, an excellent local photographer who has snapped some of you at the gallops, in attendance to do portraits/pictures, if there is enough interest.

Well done to all members who came to Mini-Hickstead, it was a great turnout from Hawley and a fun day - see the pics as and when they arrive on the web!

At every RC competition a few people get eliminated for minor/major rule breaches (yes including me). Look out for these new red fact boxes to help you stay legal!

One of our members - Ginetta George - is taking part in one of the World Horse Welfare (IPLH) Challenges at the end of May: trekking for seven hours a day through Transylvania to raise money for horses in suffering all around the world.

You can make a donation to the cause by visiting www.thiswish.co.uk. You can also get updates on the progress of the trek, and fundraising events.

Good luck, Ginetta!
